Actually I an not really sure what is new or old, as the Koch connection to Cain precedes the Rove connection to Palin, at least as far as McCain.
Note: "connection"s are not "fair and balanced"
But my point is that there is a supposed split in the Republican party, but the devil is in the details. And working the refs?

Note that my un-Pop quiz is a test of sorts. At the time of inserting the "pop" link, also under "metaphor" aka "search for rubric", there were only four rubric hits, which I have recorded separately under the intervening words.
Another un-pop note: My "working the refs" is actually the punch line. Or satan sandwich of game buffet politics.
